The Bunker License Holders import and discharge Marine Bunker Fuel to JCT Limited through the Port of Colombo which is subject to applicable charges. JCT Limited do provide storage facilities and handling facilities to load into bunker barges and tankers used by the clients. Currently there are Eight Bunker license holders operating at JCT Limited and following products are stored at the facility.
JCT Limited has 13 nos of storage tanks including 07 tanks for LSFO and 06 for MGO. Total storage capacity of our tank farm is approximately 35,000MT while it contains 26,000MT for LSFO and 9000MT for MGO.

The main role of operations division is to store and supply bunker fuel comprising Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (LSFO) and Marine Gas Oil (MGO) imported by Bunker License Holders. Generally, JCT Limited operate approximately 55,000MT of cargo of both products monthly. Mainly, operations division contains pump room and jetty operations in order to provide 24 hours effective and efficient service to our valued clients.
Finance Division is responsible for acquiring funds to the firm, managing funds within the organization and planning for the expenditure of funds on various assets. It is the part of an organization that ensures efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support all business activities. Main functions are Bookkeeping, Management of Company’s cash flow, Budgets & forecasting, Management of company’s investments, taxes, financial reporting, Purchasing & stores function etc.
The main responsibility of the Engineering division is to plan & carry out proper maintenance programs for the Engine pumps, Fuel storage Tanks, Boilers, fuel distribution pipe lines, buildings, vehicles and other machinery and equipment. In addition, engineering division is responsible for all Fabrication works, Civil Engineering & Electrical Engineering work, Fire & safety of Oil Terminal & Yard maintenance works etc.
The main functions of the Legal & HR division is recruitments and appointments, record attendance & leave, provide records on time to finance division to prepare salaries, initiate employees’ welfare amenities, maintain industrial relation, prepare documentations for EPF / ETF, arrange staff training, Handle legal matters and Board Secretarial work etc.
