Dear Valued Stakeholders,

It is with pleasure that I am welcoming you to the official website of Jaya Container Terminal Limited (JCT). Thank you for your interest and we encourage you to explore our website, from the list of our achievements and to have an insight into our industry.

JCT Limited is a 100% fully owned subsidiary of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and our key role is to manage, operate oil bunkering and to provide sufficient fuel for the vessels.

We have been in operation since Year 2008, and we have been a profitable entity throughout with 120 dedicated employees. We are focused on growing our business, infrastructure with our strong commitment to the continuous development of the company, by consistently improving in our respective zones while enhancing the capacity in the future.

JCT has seen phenomenal growth and turnover in the recent past, despite the fuel crisis that prevailed in Sri Lanka. This is largely due to the fact that JCT was able to provide Marine Gas Oil, to various segments of the private sector that required fuel for their daily operations. This included the garment industry, the tourism industry and much more. The provision of MGO to these sectors was an additional service provided by JCT, that resulted in an exponential increase in revenue and profit.

I take this opportunity to thank His Excellency the President Ranil Wickremesinghe , Hon Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, Hon Minister of Ports, Shipping & Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva for the vision and guidance provided to the management of JCT.
