She is Attorney-At-Law by profession and graduated from Faculty of Law, University of Colombo and hold Masters in Law and Postgraduate in HR from University of Colombo. Previously she served in Ministry of Human Rights and Disaster Management and Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka.

He is a Mechanical Engineer and is an Associate member of Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL). He also holds a B.Sc Degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering in University of Peradeniya.

He also holds the management degree (BBA- Bachelor of Business Administration) in University of Colombo.
